Key Strategies & Primary Goals

Progress by measurements

Focus on a specialty market - Niche Market --- Pet Rabbit Hay

Grow a crop that meets the nutritional needs of the rabbit.

Hay is analysis by an Independent Certified Testing Laboratory - Member of the National Forage Testing Association of Omaha, Nebraska.

Grow the crop with the type of grasses that give the required results based on the understanding of grass varieties and their traits, and varieties that grow in the soil types found on the farm.

By understanding nature's growth process of the plant, harvest time will control the quality necessary to meet the required nutrient level for the rabbit.

The nutrition requirements of the rabbit are found in the Merck Veterinary Manual. (Page 1281)
